I am so thankful that you have come to visit this page so that I could share my testimony with you!
I was blessed in that both of my parents, Tom and Tonya Estes, were saved when I was very young, which allowed them to raise me in church, and to teach the Bible to my sister, Lee Ann, and I at home. I have very early memories in my life of my mother reading the Bible to me at bedtime, and these are memories for which I am eternally grateful.
I made a profession of faith in the Lord Jesus Christ at five years old and was baptized, but came to realize at the age of twelve that I had not yet been truly converted. It was then that I received the Lord Jesus Christ and was baptized to identify myself with Christ, and to join with the church where I was raised, Twinbrook Hills Baptist Church in Hamilton, OH.
God allowed me to grow there as a young man, eventually calling me to preach while attending the Mountain View Baptist Camp under the preaching of Dr. Al Stone.
It was then that I began my college education at what was then the Heritage Baptist University in Indianapolis, Indiana. I've also studied at what was Hamilton Baptist College, Landmark Baptist College in Haines City, Florida, and most recently at Antioch Baptist College in West Chester, Ohio, under the tutelage of Dr. Dan Ferrell.
God has blessed me with several full-time ministry opportunities in three states. I began my ministry as the Youth/Music Director right here at Southside Baptist Church. Not only did I learn much in my first ministry opportunity, I also met my wonderful wife, Kristin, who continues to amaze me with her willingness to assist me in the ministry. Without her I would never be able to have this ministry that God has given me.
After working and learning under pastor Bob Lamb, I became the Pastor of the Harvest Missionary Baptist Church in Berea, Kentucky. After a short time there I became the Associate Pastor at the Twinbrook Hills Baptist Church, serving under Dr. Dennis Riddick. After two years of learning and serving at Twinbrook Hills I became the Pastor of the Purity Baptist Church in Maysville, KY, and we were blessed to be able to serve there for just over three years.
It was from there that God led my family and I into an evangelism ministry under the authority of the Morningstar Baptist Church. We went all across the eastern part of the United States preaching and presenting Antioch Baptist College to churches in order to gain support for the school as well as look for new students.
And after all of that, God has led me right back to where I began my full time ministry, and my family and I couldn't be happier. We can't help but believe that God is going to bless this work mightily, and we hope that He does so totally for His honor and glory. We would just love it if you would come and visit with us and see what God is up to at The Southside Baptist Church.
